November 28th , 1942
War could never be a good thing, especially on the front line. Six days ago I had been attack by malaria but is slowly going away on its own.I have been suffering from asthma before and now this ammonia only makes it worse. I hope that once I get back home I will stay. The medication was free and was very useful but nothing could possible cure what I've seen.
Along with the bad news, i have also brought you good news. Im looking forwards to seeing you before christmas. im sorry im not in the greatest condition to see you but please dont show me your tears it will only make me worse. Farewell for now.
