SOLES Presentation

1) I would recomend you to pay specific attention to the girl effect. I recomend it because this orginization, in my opinion, is the most important out of the three orginizations. Please listen and be informed!

2)I also had other notes that i did not get the time to include and i would like you to read them. Here they are!
· SEE SOME ID
Without an I.D, many of the females rights are being denied such as, getting married, being able to vote, opening bank accounts and much more.
· ILLITERACY DOES NOT LOOK GOOD ON A RESUME...
Did you know that out of the 100% of children that don’t go to school, 70% are girls! This doesn’t seem right. They should be treated better and they do not deserve this. That’s why sending a girl to school is helping their health, education and environment.
· ... AND PREGNANCY DOESN'T LOOK GOOD ON A LITTLE GIRL
the female is attacked with many assaults, right when they hit 12. By twelve they are seen in the eyes of many as “women” and told to be married at the age of 14 and then pregnant by 15. Does this seem fair?
· THE FACE OF HIV IS INCREASINGLY YOUNG AND FEMALE
when girls aren’t educated about HIV Aids they are more and more likely to get it and so by lack of education girls can be left in despair and in need of money and then start to sell their own bodies.
· A NICE PLACE TO WORK WOULD BE NICE
Think about it. If we gave the girls the education, healthcare and the proper environment. Don’t you think that’s creating another passage for another young girl in need?
· THE CHECK IS IN THE MAIL BUT IT'S GOING TO YOUR BROTHER
Only 2 cents of every international aid dollar is spent on a girl in the developing world. And if you invest in her, she will invest back in her community.
· ADOLESCENT GIRLS AREN'T JUST "FUTURE WOMEN"
Their just girls. They need their own category. They need a place where they can fit in. they need
they’re girls. They deserve their own category. They need to be a distinct group when we talk about aid, education, sports, civic participation, health and economics. Yes, they are future mothers. But they actually live in the present.
· LAWS WERE MADE TO BE ENFORCED
School plays a HUGE role in the girl affects. Without school and their lack of education, females around the world are being isolated from the world and stepped on. But with that education it allows them the education for them to rise up and enforce laws of their own. Anything is possible if we persevere.
· SHE SHOULD BE A STATISTIC
Too all those government and NGO’s and scientist. I think they should all wake up and realise that the death rate for girls around the world are increasing by who knows. That’s because no one is keeping track and very few people really take the time to notice these things. I think they need to take action and start understanding the environment they are in and do something about it!
· EVERYONE GETS ON BOARD OR WE'RE ALL OVERBOARD
Boys, girls, moms, and dads. If we don't all rally to support girls, nothing is going to change. Not for them, and not for us. Change starts with you. So get going. (This paragraph is taken right off the girl affect website, the rest are my own words) 

3) Another thing I want you to pay attention to is the donation part of the whole presentation and I certainly recommend you put some thought into it.
